Letter from Recruitment Chair

Welcome to Delta Gamma at Roanoke College’s website and thank you for your interest in our chapter! My name is Avery Jackson, and I am the recruitment chair for Gamma Pi, Delta Gamma’s chapter at Roanoke College. I am so excited that you have found this site! I hope you explore it to discover our history, philanthropy, events and members and notice the passion we have for each other and DG. Delta Gamma is a diverse group of intelligent, eclectic, fun, and inspirational women who I have grown to know, love and appreciate over the course of my membership. 

If you are considering going through recruitment, I highly recommend that you choose to do so! Delta Gamma has become a home for me here at Roanoke College, as it also has for my sisters in the Gamma Pi chapter. I can’t even begin to explain the bonds and connections that I have made, and how much Delta Gamma has enriched my experience here at Roanoke. DG helps young women flourish into even greater leaders, philanthropist, students and friends, and I am able to say this with great confidence because of all that Delta Gamma has pushed me to do. Without this organization and the unconditional support of my sisters, I would not be the woman I have grown to be today.
